Pottery Club

When you think of Pottery Club you think of clay, pots, and sculptures. You probably also think of hard work and stress to make the perfect project.
What really happens is they help the people of Evanston and raise money to help other communities. Their main goal is to help others whose communities are in poor condition.
Why you ask is it called Pottery Club? They call it Pottery Club because the Pottery teacher Mrs. Hollows is the Queen of it all. Her second in command (president) is Darien Short. Third in command is Samantha Arnett (vice president). The one that loves and keeps track of the money is Colton Gomez (treasurer). The one that keeps them in line and makes sure everything is on time (the secretary) is her daughter Candice Hallows.
The club meets every Tuesday after school in the Pottery room where they plan their exciting activities. They present to us the startling Halloween Haunted House every year.
When I spoke to one of the members of the club Kaitlyn Lowry she said, “My favorite part is the social atmosphere.”I also asked her why she joined? She said, “ I heard about it from one of my friends and I thought it sounded cool.”
Right now the club is working on saving enough money to go over to New Orleans in order to help clean up the messes from hurricanes.
Also If anyone would like to join the Pottery Club you can join at any time during the year.
